From a safe, caring, paternalistic place,

To a minefield.

Not knowing who is going to be next!

Who to trust!

Who the enemy is!

Constantly searching for answers,

Listening to doctors, specialists…

Mostly the ones who have nothing to lose.

Trying to get the actual fact,

Not the narrative.

Wondering,

Doubting,

Panicking.

We have all been affected.

Can’t quite get to grips,

With the magnitude,

Of the possibility!

Listening to it all unfold,

Trusting no one!
