My mum and dad

Such loving, caring people

Born in an England that was far different from today.

War, rations, heavy discipline,

Produced beautiful souls.

Who wanted only the best for their family and friends.

And always put others first.

And worked hard to provide a better life for all those around them.

That was the case in those days.

The more we get,

The more we want.

The more we seek using devious, frightful means!

To enrich our selves and our insatiable appetites.

Devoid of concern for our fellow brothers.
